Caitlin Ball
Receptionist
With a life goal of “having an impact on the world”, Caitlin joined the firm this year with a quiet determination to make a positive difference in our firm in whatever way she can!
Caitlin can be found manning our reception area, which naturally has been her first target for “positive difference” by trying to minimise those loud silence waiting times that nobody enjoys, with some gentle music. Although this is a pretty small start, she hopes to draw on a variety of work and life experiences to make your interactions with our firm a comfortable and even enjoyable experience.
Hailing from small country towns throughout NSW, Caitlin is not only new to our firm but also new to Canberra. In her past life, she worked for 6 years as a legal receptionist/secretary at a law firm in Central West NSW and during that time, gained a random collection of knowledge and skills while assisting solicitors across a variety of areas of law.
Over the last few years however, she has been working in the mental health field and as a school chaplain, seeing the other side of the picture, while supporting children often experiencing family breakdown and separation, among other things.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys exploring nature (preferably with her partner and/or greyhound), she gets way too excited about every single event that’s on in Canberra, and is fascinated by neuroscience and learning about the effects of trauma.
Caitlin’s aim is to use her legal and mental health experience, to be a calm and supportive voice for everyone that makes contact with the firm.
